<--- These are the parents:
Baron and Brandy. Brandy is the beautiful Lady in front. Baron
is the handsome devil with her.
Baron is an affectionate guy, as you can see. --->
These are standard Dachshunds. Baron weighs a lean 23 pounds.
Brandy weighs about 17 pounds, although she is now gaining her weight back
after feeding those six kids. |
|
|
<--- Parenting skills are
important. On the left, Baron helps keep the kids clean. On
the right, Brandy knows when a kid needs a stern "talking to." --> |
|
|
<--- This is Bandit. His color is
called "sable." It's a dark red, with black markings and
undertones. He is an active and affectionate little guy.
This is Anna -- Bandit's new Mom. Bandit will get lots of love from
his new "parents," and will have lots of room to hunt, run and
play. --->

|
|
<--- This is Brutus. His color is red,
but also with some black undertones. He loves the outdoors, toys and
playing with his brothers.
This is James -- new buddy to Brutus. Along with his sister Kirsten
and his brother, Erin, they will make sure Brutus gets lots of love and
attention. ---> |
|
|
<--- This is Bubba. He is black and tan,
but mostly black. He and Coco are the quieter ones in the
bunch. Likes affection: both giving it and getting it.
This is Christy -- Bubba's new Mom.
Somehow I think Bubba is gonna be spoiled. --->
|
|
|
<--- This is Coco. His color is
"chocolate." It's a nice color and blends well with the
Georgia clay on his nose. He is the biggest of
the pups -- probably going to be as big as Daddy.
He has a new name and a new Mom. His new name is Teddy, and his
Mom's name is Lisa. --->
|
|
|
<--- This is Li'l Brother. He also is
black and tan. He is the smallest of the pack, but probably the most
active. He approaches everything with exuberance -- whether it's a
leaf in the yard or the steps up the deck.
This is Pammy, Li'l Brother's new Mom. He is going to be a buddy for
her three year old daughter. --->

And so another "puppy season" is almost
over. This is how it all began, a scant ten weeks ago.
They leave behind warm memories as they go on to bring their little joy to
their new homes. |
