<- I was wondering when the
rest of the kids would learn to climb up on the deck. I let them out
after their breakfast. Later on, I looked out the window and saw
this. Didn't take them long to learn.
Babies all asleep while Big Sister
keeps watch. ->
<-- They're pretty casual about it
now. Once they learn, it's easy.
"I don't think Brother ought
to do that; he's not good at that stuff." -->
<-- "A boy has just got to know
his limitations."
"Hey, this gets easier with
practice." -->
<-- "Well, I guess if that
big klutz can do it -- surely I can."
"Oooops! It looked
easier when he did it."--->
<-- Big day outside and they're all
resting. Wait a minute! Somebody's missing.
"Hmmmm, . . ., I could pounce
on anybody from here." -->
<-- Dad enjoying the fire with his
kids.
Dad wandered off, but the kids still like the fire. ---> |
<-- In case you wonder why I call
"Li'l Bit" that name.
Brother is definitely a fireplace dog. --->
<--- Sometimes I wonder why our puppies
are so goofy. Then, sometimes I don't. Maybe it's the gene
pool.
Kids at play. --->
<-- Dad seemed to think they didn't have
enough toys to play with, so he brought this one out for them.
The sisters are enjoying it. -->
<-- A moment of solitude by the fire.
But, it was a short moment. Brother decides
to join. --->
<-- Dad and his kids.
-->
<-- Looks like Dad and L'il Bit are about to
launch after something. I don't think Brother plans to join them
right now -- maybe later.
Brandy is still producing milk, so once in a
while the kids get a little special snack. It doesn't last
long. -->
<-- All kids like "high tech"
toys. This one happens to be the roller from a roll of paper
towels. --> |
<-- Mom and Dad enjoy their kids from a
peaceful distance.
Maybe you wonder why I need the heavy black
shielding over my computer cables. If you do, you never had
puppies. -->
<-- Mom didn't want to share her chair, so Coco
curls up on the footstool.
Spoiling puppies is a lot of work.
Sometimes I need outside help. Uncle Tony has had lots of practice,
as you can tell here. -->
